Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has officially named Ben Murr President of its TwinSpires and online gaming business organization segments, making his temporary appointment permanent.
The Louisville-based manipulator has tapped the long-time CDI employee to for good supervise the boilersuit strategy and operations of these ii business sector areas.
During his 14 years with Winston Churchill Downs, Murr has served in multiple leaders roles, including President of United Tote, Senior VP and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and, before his prescribed appointment, interim President of TwinSpires and online gaming.
Murr took o'er as interim President when TwinSpires’ former head up Ian Tennessee Williams left to join Wynn Interactive inwards Oct 2021.
Commenting on his latest appointment, Murr said: “I’ve been intemperately involved with TwinSpires and our online gaming trading operations end-to-end my term of office at CDI.

Prior to joining Winston S. Churchill Downs, Murr worked inward selective information technology roles at American multinational General Electric, and holds a bachelor’s level inwards Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Louisville’s Cardinal Bellarmine University.
