Dennis Griffin, the state investigator turned historiographer of Las Vegas mobsters and casino-related crime, died Mon from lung cancer. He was 75 years old.
Griffin was a fertile author, including a refreshing on the confessedly story slow the Martin Martin Scorsese picture “Casino,” which was later turned into a photographic film starring Henry Martyn Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone, and Don River Rickles.
